This is one of my inspirations for creating Ari'ze Women Network.  As producers we can bring forth inspiring, positive images and stories untold which can inspire and empower others.

Serving the Chicago community in theater for over 15 years, Crystal “QNef” Smothers has produced community television on Chicago Access Network (CANTV) as well as Wisconsin's Chippewa Valley Community Television. Publisher and Editor of her newspaper, African-American Woman, Ms Smothers went digital and expanded her readership to women of diverse cultures, bringing forth Ari'ze Woman Ezine.  In 2009 Qnef became Lead Administrator for The Black Network, an online network featuring Southern Soul and Soul artists.  Currently she is Owner and Executive Producer of Ari'ze Women Network,  Ari'ze Woman Ezine and Facebook music group Just Chill Neo Soul. Ms. Smothers developed and currently shares her "Butter Earth" Shea Butter line of Body butter.

Bringing entertainment while empowering viewers through music, and stageplays, Ms. Smothers along with various producers launched Ari'ze Women Network in 2017, a digital entertainment network that showcases Indie film artists and documentaries.

Daughter of Earline Smothers and Chicago blues pioneer Big Smokey Smothers, Crystal will be bringing a documentary, Smothers Brothers of Blues about the life of  Otis Big Smokey Smothers and Abe Little Smokey Smothers. Big Smokey was a composer and blues legend who wrote and performed with blues legends Muddy Waters, Howlin Wolf and Bo Diddley.  Ms. Smothers is looking for producers to join Ari'ze Women Network to explode on the entertainment scene to bring inspiring and empowering programming showing diverse images of strong women and men in digital entertainment.​
